Lessons from Braless Brunch: Why Sisterhood Heals
At Braless Brunch, my twice-a-year women’s body positive event in Brisbane, something magical always happens. Women arrive guarded, unsure, even nervous. But as stories are shared over coffee and laughter, walls come down. By the end, there’s a sense of sisterhood that can’t be forced — it just unfolds.
One woman recently told me, “I came for the fun, but I left realising how much I needed this connection.”
Events like Braless Brunch aren’t just social. They’re medicine. They remind us that healing doesn’t always happen alone — sometimes it happens in circles, in conversations, in the simple act of being seen and accepted as you are.
