What Women Really Want: Reflections from My Pleasure Workshop

Workshop attendee is looking at a glass dildo from Yoni Pleasure Palace called the Sacred Squirter. This is the signature workshop provided by Jo Goddard , called The Anatomy of Pleasure

At my last Pleasure Pathway workshop in Brisbane, I asked the women in the room: “What do you truly want in your body and relationships?” The answers weren’t what you might expect. They didn’t say diamonds or luxury holidays. They said:

  • To feel safe in intimacy

  • To reclaim desire after motherhood

  • To be touched without expectation

These are the same themes I hear again and again in my practice. Women are craving connection — not just to partners, but to themselves.

Workshops like these remind me why I do this work. Because when women come together in a safe, sacred space, the permission to feel and heal multiplies. And when one woman claims her pleasure, she gives others permission to do the same.
